The everyday experiences of a young family taking on full home renovation

Blogging, Home renovation

Returning to the blogosphere

After a long break due to life commitments and underestimating the time needed to renovate a house, bring up a child, set up and run a new PR business and recover from the subsequent burnout, I’ve decided to return to blogging.

I love writing and I love all things interiors and have managed to build up a lovely following on Instagram over the past couple of years, so it feels right now I’ve learnt a few lessons and the house is looking more presentable, I can share my experiences with you all.

Ultimately I want to do more of what I love and this seems like a very obvious way to channel that energy!

Over the next few weeks I’ll provide an overview of what I’ve done to the house so far, including some valuable insight we gathered on the way. I’ll also be sharing my sources of inspiration and reviews of nationwide services and suppliers we used, as well as tips on how to get the best from your renovation and make your budget go further.

Most of what I’ll share I discovered the hard way, so hopefully by keeping up to date with the blog, those going through the same process will avoid costly or time-consuming mistakes!

On the other hand, if you just read for interiors inspiration, hopefully we can provide that too 🙂
