Terrible Real Estate Agent Photographs

For anyone house hunting, spending hours trawling Right Move or sifting through endless untargeted agent mailouts, take some time out – this is for you.

Terrible Real Estate Agent Photographs is a Tumblr by London-based Scot Andy Donaldson, devoted to “inexplicably bad property photographs.”

Amusing captions and an abundance of images of predominantly American properties – some you can’t believe actually exist – make this blog the entertaining and mystifying wonder it is.

Testament to the blogs growing popularity, a book featuring more than 100 previously unpublished images launched this month and is available to buy on Amazon. Describing the photographic content, the words “less Rankin and more plain rank” pretty much hit the nail on the head.

If you’ve never come across it before, be prepared to waste the next hour trawling through every one of its 20 or so pages.

Part of a new series entitled “Name the Body Part”.  Any ideas?

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what this adds to the room, but it certainly adds something.

This one raises a couple of quite urgent questions: Where did they go, and are they still in the house?
